The Perennial Sages or invaluable for their rich display in the border. Plants form a bushy clump of grey green leaves, with upright spikes appearing in early summer, attractive to butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. (Salvia nemorosa East Friesland)

Care and Dead Heading:
Tolerant of most well drained soils. Water well until established. Remove faded flowers.
Planting Instructions:
Dig a hole twice as wide as the container and 1-1/2 the depth. Remove container and gently massage the roots. Place root ball in center of the hole even with ground level. Backfill hole with mixture of 1/2 native soil and 1/2 soil amendment. Compact lightly and water thoroughly, then repeat. Apply 5-10cm (2-4in) layer of organic mulch & create a water basin around plant.
