Bee Balm

Bee Balm / Pink Frosting

Attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Deer friendly.

Features:

Named for my sweetly fragrant, soft pink flowers, I am the perfect new addition to the Sugar Buzz series of bee balm. With improved vigor, compact size, and aromatic, disease resistant foliage, I make an excellent addition to borders or containers. Hummingbirds and butterflies love my flowers!

Companion Plants:

Plant me with Coneflower, Daylily, Yarrow, Grasses, Delphinium and Lavender.

Care and Dead Heading:

Plant me in moist, well drained soil and feed me in spring with an all purpose fertilizer prior to new growth. Cut back my spent flowers to promote new blossoms. Cut me back in fall and divide me every few years to maintain vigor.

Planting Instructions:

Dig hole twice as wide as the container and 1-1/2 the depth. Remove container and gently massage the roots. Place root ball in center of the hole even with ground level. Backfill hole with mixture of 1/2 native soil and 1/2 soil amendment. Compact lightly and water thoroughly, then repeat. Apply 5-10cm (2-4in) layer of organic mulch & create a water basin around plant.
